株式会社GhostDrift数理研究所 設立のお知らせ

2026年2月10日、株式会社GhostDrift数理研究所を設立いたしました。法人番号は2026年2月17日に指定されています。

GhostDrift数理研究所は、「責任が蒸発する構造」を数学的に解体し、停止条件を実装するために設立された研究機関です。


背景：責任の真空と正統性の移転

AI・自動化・分業が高度化する現代において、意思決定は高速化する一方で、それを引き受ける主体が構造的に不在化する現象が各所で発生しています。

私たちはこの状態を「責任の真空」と定義します。

さらに近年、意思決定の正統性が人間判断からアルゴリズム判断へと構造的に移転する条件が存在することを、Algorithmic Legitimacy Shift（ALS）として定式化しました。

これは「AIが賢い」という議論ではなく、統計的決定理論に基づき、一定条件下ではアルゴリズム判断が構造的に優越することを示す理論です。

この正統性の移転が進むほど、責任の所在は曖昧になります。


責任工学（Responsibility Engineering）

責任工学は、責任を倫理や説明で後から補うのではなく、

責任が成立する境界と成立しない境界を事前に設計するための工学体系です。

そのために私たちは、以下の三層構造を提案します。

  • 停止境界（Stop Boundary）

  • 責任境界（Responsibility Boundary）

  • 承認境界（Approval Boundary）

これにより、意思決定の不可逆性と検証可能性を構造的に固定します。


中核技術：ADIC

ADIC（Advanced Data Integrity by Ledger of Computation）は、AI出力を区間計算によって監査可能にし、その正当性を外部から検証可能な証拠として固定する技術です。

GhostDriftは既存のAIシステムを否定しません。その上に「後付け不能な責任固定」のレイヤーを実装します。

Announcement of Incorporation

GhostDrift Mathematical Institute, Inc.

GhostDrift Mathematical Institute, Inc. was formally incorporated on February 10, 2026.The corporate registration number was officially assigned on February 17, 2026.

GhostDrift was established to mathematically dismantle structures in which responsibility evaporates and to implement formal stop conditions within decision-making systems.


Background: Responsibility Vacuum and Legitimacy Shift

In an era of advanced AI, automation, and division of labor, decisions are executed at increasing speed while the entity capable of fully understanding and assuming responsibility for them structurally disappears.

We define this phenomenon as the “Responsibility Vacuum.”

In recent years, we have further formalized the structural conditions under which decision-making legitimacy shifts from human judgment to algorithmic judgment. We define this as Algorithmic Legitimacy Shift (ALS).

This is not a claim that “AI is smarter.”Rather, grounded in statistical decision theory, ALS demonstrates that under certain structural conditions, algorithmic minimax risk becomes strictly smaller than that of human judgment.

As legitimacy shifts, responsibility becomes diffuse and increasingly untraceable.


Responsibility Engineering

Responsibility Engineering does not attempt to repair responsibility after the fact through ethics or explanation.

Instead, it is an engineering framework for pre-designing the boundaries under which responsibility can and cannot be established.

We propose a three-layer structure:

  • Stop Boundary

  • Responsibility Boundary

  • Approval Boundary

Through these layers, irreversibility and verifiability in decision-making are structurally fixed.


Core Technology: ADIC

ADIC (Advanced Data Integrity by Ledger of Computation) provides auditability to AI outputs through interval-based verification and computational ledgers.

It transforms algorithmic outputs into externally verifiable evidence.

GhostDrift does not reject existing AI systems.We implement a layer of post-hoc impossibility of responsibility alteration above them.
